WHO Dementia Research Dialogues: Where Blueprint Meets Practice

The World Health Organization (WHO) Blueprint for Dementia Research is a collaborative global effort to accelerate dementia research, improve care, and advance prevention. It outlines key themes and milestones to tackle dementia’s most urgent challenges through research, innovation, and partnership. Whether you're a researcher, policymaker, healthcare leader, funder or person with lived experience, the Blueprint is a call to action to make a difference.

To support the implementation of the Blueprint, WHO has launched the Dementia Research Dialogues: Where Blueprint Meets Practice series. These sessions bring together leaders in dementia research to collaborate and support the translation of research into practice and policy. The Dementia Research Dialogues are composed of two main activities:

  • Monthly dialogue sessions to support capacity building on how to use the Blueprint to move forward global and local dementia research agendas.

  • A Dementia Research Community- a community of practice dedicated to fostering the implementation of the Blueprint. WHO’s Dementia Research community fosters global collaboration to support the progress of specific research milestones.

Join us in shaping impactive, evidence-based research by joining the Dementia Research Dialogues community!
