The organisation pays for the zoom link and the authors are responsible for the content of the #demenzRAUM sessions. The sessions are held once a month every second Wednesday 15h-16h (Vienna time) and can be viewed via YouTube afterwards. So there is on one hand the possibility to view synchron and ask questions live and on the other hand all people who are interrested in the topic can view all sessions (concerning different topics around dementia, such as AAL, ethics, Validation, etc.) afterwards via YouTube for free.
According to the subtitle of the #demenzRAUM “Talk about it”, the most important goal is to educate, to remove taboos and to de-stigmatize dementia. This should be achieved through information, advice and networking among viewers. Different aspects and facets of the topic of dementia should be dealt with, as well as self-care and support for those affected and their environment should be explained. Through the cooperation and the presentation of other initiatives as well as the invitation of different (celebrity) guests, the #demenzRAUM and the associated topic of dementia should appeal to an even wider audience.
