The Connecting Communities project was initiated as an opportunity address recognised issues including relating to dementia in BAME communities. Over 27 months the project delivered over 540 dementia awareness sessions reaching 8,300+ people from BAME communities. This resource evaluates the project and reports the key findings and outcomes.
In addition to presenting the findings, the resource also aimed to develop a set of recommendations which would be useful both for the Alzheimer's Society in taking the pilot forward, but also for other organisations looking to implement a similar approach.
